Did you notice the sequence of coloured shapes on the back of the Recruitment Letter? Perhaps these coloured shapes correlate with something else.
Using the sequence of coloured shaped (Squares + Circles) on the back of the Recruitment Letter, as well as the Cipher Disk, you'll need to figure out the secret Cypher7 Database access code. Each of the coloured '7's matches up with one of those coloured shapes.

Did you thoroughly examine the handwritten note? What did you notice on the reverse?
There seems to be a list of specific locations. Perhaps the hand drawn image is some sort of map.
Did you notice the 6 markings on the back? These seem to be encrypted. Try using the Decoder to decode these.
These markings must have something to do with the list of locations and drawings.
You'll have to use the markings on the reverse to pinpoint each of the locations listed. Be careful, the order is very important. You'll have to fold the page over to use the 6 markings to identify each spot.

Have you figured out which 6 crimes Hanz committed? Once you do, you'll need to find each of the 6 locations on the Cipher7 Map. Did you notice the red grid on the back of the Recruitment Letter?
The red grid on the back of the Recruitment Letter is also found on the Cipher7 Map. Once you figure out all 6 locations Hanz committed a crime at, you'll need to use the Map and the grid with the letters/digits to figure out the secrete code which you'll have to input into the Cipher7 Database.

It looks like this exchange of emails is between Hanz and Luther. Make sure you read through them carefully. Keep track of the dates/times, as well as what is mentioned. See if you can find any relations between the topics of discussion and any of the 12 articles provided to you by Cipher7.
Even though Dr. Hanz received an email denying him access to excavate at Machu Picchu, he says in a later email that he won't take no for an answer. Perhaps this is enough proof to pinpoint Hanz to the crime committed in Machu Picchu.
Luther mentions something about getting wet. Perhaps this is an underwater expedition? Do any of the articles mention diving or underwater treasures?
Using the emails, you can conclude two things:
Hanz committed the crime at Machu Picchu.
Hanz did NOT commit the crime at Cape Spartel.
This looks like a decoder. A row of numbers and 5 rows of letters. There are 5 colours on the Decoder:
Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Pink.
Dr. Hanz and Luther must have used this to encrypt important text. Use this to decipher any coded text you may find.
Remember, the Decoder incorporates numbers colours and letters.
